The Heroes of Humanity
After the fall of SHIELD, the world’s view of superheroes drastically changed. Heroes have become scapegoats for the media, attacked and threatened by the very people that they work so hard to protect. In an attempt to flee the media, the Avengers left New York. They, along with a large number of other heroes, relocated to Los Angeles. But the public is the least of their problems. A number of superpowered citizens have turned up missing or dead at the hand of Thanos. Heroes have always been there to fight against those who harm society, but when they are the ones being targeted, who will save them?

A life in poverty is never easy for anyone. Matt Murdock was impressed with this knowledge since day one. His father, Jonathan “Battlin’ Jack” Murdock, was a prizefighter in Hell’s Kitchen. Matt was raised by his father alone, after his mother had run off, never to be seen again. Matt thought the world of his dad and everything he won, but Jonathan believed differently. He wanted his son to succeed with his mind, not his fists, and hoped Matt would become a doctor, or lawyer, not an “uneducated pug” like himself. Matt disagreed, however, and took to training at the gym in secret, determined to follow in his father’s footsteps to glory. This training and stubbornness to rebel, provoking the other children in the neighborhood to call him “Daredevil”.
Matt, nonetheless, would one day know a different glory. One afternoon en route home from school, Matt spotted a blind man crossing the street, unaware of the truck speeding straight for him. Matt didn’t think. He simply acted, pushing the man out of the way without a second thought for his own safety. The blind man lived, but for a price; Matt was hit with a radioactive isotope from the truck’s storage containers, and blinded. When he woke up in the hospital and realized he could no longer see, he also discovered a new sharpness in his other senses. The accident had given him an acute sensitivity to his surroundings, presenting Matt with a superhuman certainty in the world around him. Jack finally provided the training Matt wanted, keen to keep his son safe.
He wouldn’t get the same chance. One day, Jack refused to throw a fight, and was subsequently murdered by mobsters. Enraged, Matt created a superhero identity to enact (unsuccessful) vengeance upon his father’s killers, earning the nickname of “The Man Without Fear” in the process. Matt went on to attend Columbia Law School and eventually opened his own practice, fulfilling Jack Murdock’s oldest wishes of his only son. When not fighting criminals in the courtroom, Matt Murdock deals out his own form of justice, protecting the citizens of his new city, Los Angeles.

|Hi there! First of all, your RP looks AMAZING!! I'd love to get in on the action, but I was wondering - would you be willing to match Matt Murdock's age to Elektra's (28) and swap the FC for Sam Claflin? Aaand... would you consider adding Matt's secret identity to the SHIELD leak in CATWS? So, like in the comics, he would have come to LA after being outed as Daredevil and disbarred in New York? Sorry, I just thought it might be a fun twist! XD|
Thank you so much!
All of this is completely doable. If you apply, we’ll add the FC change upon acceptance and same goes for the age change. It sounds like a great twist! Thank for thinking of it and thank you for being willing to write it.
